It has been said many times that the name mostly known all over the world after Christ is the Navigator’s Cristóvão Cólon also known as Columbus.
[ We are using in this article an accent on the first ó of the name Cólon, to emphasize its correct pronunciation in Greek.]
Up until a few decades ago, everyone in the world believed that the famous navigator was born in Genoa, Italy. However it has already been proven that ALL the documents attributed to the Italian theory are ALL FORGERIES! In conclusion, we know now, that the Genovese Columbus was an IMPOSTOR!
Lately, it has been proven that all the coeval documents of the true Navigator demonstrate that he was born in the old town of Cuba, in Alentejo, Portugal.
The Portuguese theory is strongly based on the analyses of his Sigla, his Monogram, his Blessing, his Coat of Arms and even in more than 40 Portuguese names that he placed on the islands of the Caribbean after his four trips to Central America.
Even the DNA studies that have been done by human genetics specialists up to now revealed that the [ Y ] chromosome of Fernando Colon and Columbus’ brother, Bartolomeo Colon, did NOT match the [Y] chromosomes of 477 males from the north of Italy, southern of France and from the Cataluña province of Spain. All these 477 individuals declared themselves to be directed descents of the true Navigator. NONE of them presented any genetic similarity with [Y] chromosome of Columbus’s family! We can therefore conclude that the true Navigator was NOT Italian, NOR French, and NOR Spanish! It is easily for us to conclude that he had to be Portuguese, by exclusion of parts, and also because of the tremendous importance of the documents listed above: the Sigla, Monogram, Blessing, Coat of Arms, and even the 40 Portuguese toponyms.
